PENDLE Council and the police are due to jointly apply for two anti-social behaviour closure orders tomorrow on separate properties in the borough.
Evidence on the unrelated cases in question, 16a Walton Street, Colne, and 118 Every Street, Nelson, is set to be heard at Pennine Magistrates Court in Burnley.
The applications follow continuous complaints from the public about serious nuisance and disorder at both houses including drunken parties, damage, fights on the street between people using the address and general alcohol related disorder.
Neighbourhood police officers posted notices on the front door of the houses yesterday at 10-30 a.m. at the Colne address and 2-30 p.m. at the Nelson address.
