BURNLEY have today (Thursday) been drawn away to Port Vale in the Capital One Cup.
The Clarets will travel to Vale Park for the first round in the week commencing 13th August 2012.
However, if mutually agreed, the Football League will consider requests to play on Saturday, 11th or Sunday, 12th August, 2012.
Confirmation of the actual date will follow.
Burnley last visited Vale Park in April 1995, when they lost 1-0. The clubs last met in the FA Cup third round at Turf Moor in January 2011, when the Clarets won 4-2 thanks to goals from Clarke Carlisle, Tyrone Mears and Graham Alexander.
