A LAPTOP burst into flames in a house in Fife Street, Barrowford, on Sunday afternoon, causing damage to a settee, cushion and carpet as well as the computer.
Firefighters from Nelson attended the incident and had to use a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the building. There was slight smoke damage to the whole of the house.
