A MAN was hurt when two cars crashed in a Nelson street last night.
The accident happened at the junction with Chapel Street at around 8pm.
The driver suffered minor neck and face injuries when the Nissan Micra and Volkswagen Golf collided in Leeds Road.
He was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
Police kept the road open but fuel leaked out from one of the vehicles and firefighters from nelson were called out as a precaution.
An elderly man, who was also involved in the accident, was taken home by the emergency services.
