Terry Pashley took charge of the Clarets today on a temporary basis as the Burnley board steps up its search for a new manager.
Long-serving youth coach Pashley has been appointed in a caretaker capacity following the departure of Eddie Howe to Bournemouth last Friday.
Pashley will be supported by Andy Farrell, Billy Mercer and Jason Blake in the build-up to Saturday’s Lancashire derby against Blackpool at Turf Moor.
Pashley oversaw training at Gawthorpe today with Blake taking the Development Squad to Scunthorpe United for a friendly.
Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton continues to be tipped to take over the reins at Turf Moor.
