Shorthomers B drop to third place with an open date, and Colne Dressers lie third place but came off second best at home to Tacklers A, where the match finished 3-2 to Tacklers.

Molly Rigby’s B saw off Dressers D with a 4-1 home win to keep them in fourth place, while Liberal B came away from Abinger Street with a 3-2 win over St Andrew’s B, and Byerden House’s home match with David Street will be replayed due to unforeseen circumstances at the club.

In the Third Division, Poultry D extended their lead at the top by three points after a 4-1 away win over Tacklers B, and taking up second place are Old Band C, who went through the card at home to Lamb D.

Shorthomers C secured a 4-1 away win over bottom placed Lamb C, whose only winner was John Whittingham Snr with a run of 27.

Dressers B moved up the ladder after a 4-1 home win over Foulridge Social Club, while Richard Walton had a run of 27 for Tacklers C, who came away from David Street with a 4-1 result.

Jason Bradley had a break of 39 for Molly Rigby’s A, and was beaten on a black ball game as Molly’s suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to Dressers C. ters A.
