THE Mayor of Pendle is “going for gold” with this year’s Olympic Charity Ball.
The annual Mayor’s Ball on Friday, March 2nd, is set to be a wonderful evening of entertainment.
Tickets for the charity event, at the ACE Centre, Nelson, are £32 and are on sale now.
People of all ages are welcome to dance along to music played by popular band Vicky and The Big Combo.
Mayor Coun.Nadeem Ahmed explained: “I hope as many people as possible will join me for my Olympic ‘Going for Gold’ Charity Ball.
“It is an opportunity to have a great time while raising money for good causes.”
The ball is a fund-raising event for the Mayor’s chosen charities, which are Pendleside Hospice,
Rainbows at the Holden Centre, Barrowford, and Starlight.
There will be an auction of golden opportunities at the ball, and a raffle prize draw will also be taking place.
