RICHARD Eckersley parted company with the club by mutual consent on Wednesday.
The full back, signed by Owen Coyle for a tribunal-set fee of £500,000 from Manchester United in the summer of 2009, made only four appearances for Burnley, and has had his contract cancelled.
He is expected to link up again with MLS side Toronto, where he was on loan from last April.
