Firefighters in Barnoldswick turned their hoses on cars at the weekend for an annual charity wash.
Cars were left sparkling in the brilliant sunshine as a team of four cleaned over 40 vehicles on Saturday between 10am and 2pm, raising £260 on the day for the Fire Fighters Charity.
That figure has since been matched by Barclays taking the grand total to £560 and the bank was not alone in its generosity, as Car Plan donated shampoo and wax for the event and future washes.
Rick Waller said: “We got some really good weather thankfully. It wasn’t overly busy but we had steady streams.
“It was a really good day. We did quite well.”
