Champions Barnoldswick are up to third after beating Oswaldtwistle Immanuel by 34 runs on Saturday at Victory Park.
Chasing Barlick’s 125, ‘Ossie’s reply was hampered by Imran Khalid’s 7-36.
The hosts batted first, but lost Liam Bedford, bowled by Andrew Metcalf for five, but Abdul Saddique and professional Khalid added 30 before the paid man was bowled by Neil Weaver for 13.
Weaver went on to take five wickets, seeing off skipper Luke Hodgson for seven, Paul Beech for two, Adil Kkan for five, and Aftab Hussain for six.
However, opener Abdul Saddique produced a patient innings, making 42 off 109 balls before being trapped by Andreas Sudnik, sixth man out at 97.
The innings closed on 125 with Weaver taking 5-49.
That was topped by Khalid, though Immanuel openers Oliver Jones (13) and Ramiz Hussain (19) put on 33 for the first wicket.
Abdul Saddique had the latter caught by Christopher Lemon, before Khalid ripped through the order.
He took the next four wickets for the addition of just 18 runs, before he and Matthew Nutter (2-13) saw off the remaining batsmen, with Immanuel well short on 91 all out.
Barnoldswick have two away games this weekend.
Tomorrow they make the trip to Settle, before travelling to Clitheroe on Sunday, with wickets pitched at 1-30 p.m. on both days.
