A Nelson man who produced cannabis plants worth more than £20,000 will be sentenced at Burnley Crown Court.
Alex Robinson (21), of Bath Street, pleaded guilty to producing a Class B drug at Pennine Magistrates’ Court.
The court was told he had 21 plants and some of them were mature and almost ready to be harvested.
Mr Nick Cassidy (defending) said Robinson had a significant issue with cannabis and typically smoked between 20 and 30 cigarettes containing the drug every day. He will be sentenced on June 24th.
