A man from Colne died after he was believed to have fallen from the railway viaduct in Knotts Lane.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Mr Ronald Driver (63) of Peel Road, Colne, who was found dead at 9-50pm on Sunday, May 26th.
Pathologist Dr Abdul Al-Dawoud, who performed a post-mortem examination, gave the cause of death as multiple injuries. He has requested toxicological tests be carried out.
East Lancashire Coroner Mr Richard Taylor adjourned the inquest.
