Burnley Tornados American Football Club are about to introduce a senior squad to its award-winning set up, based in Colne at Holt House, the home of Colne and Nelson Rugby Union Club.
Over the years, the Tornados, have won many accolades for their outstanding work at youth level.
Senior squad team manager Mike Culshaw said: “I wanted to emulate this success on a senior level and moving to Holt House, which has fantastic facilities, can only aid in completing our goal. This gives us an opportunity to bring a sport that is growing in popularity, to the men and woman of Pendle, who are aged 18 and over.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colne and Nelson Rugby Union Club for all their help and I look forward to a fun and prosperous friendship”
The new-look senior squad is boasting some radical new ideas to entice the residents of Pendle to come down and give the sport a try, including three months’ free introduction into the sport, which includes weekly fitness and technique focused training sessions.
