Loyal and new customers were treated to complimentary Pimms, canapés and cupcakes at the birthday bash of a popular Laneshaw Bridge inn.
Staff at the Alma Inn put on a party to remember as they celebrated the Emmott Lane site’s fifth year of success.
Since 2008, under the ownership of Lee Duerden and Shaun O’Neill and management duo Ryan Taylor and Michelle Kendall, the idyllic inn has continued to go from strength to strength. During its reign, it has racked up credentials including Taste Lancashire’s highest accolade of “Quality Assured”.
Mr Duerden said: “Our success is in no small part testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who all know and appreciate that the most important person in our business is our customer.
“With turnover in the millions and exponential year on year growth, this truly is a remarkable and outstanding achievement, particularly given recent economic woes. I am very proud and look forward to how many more years to come.”
And Mr Taylor added that he “would continue to ensure all his team never forget how important the inn’s customers are.”
