Assistant pub manager Elysia Day was ordered to pay fines and costs of £2,025 at Burnley Crown Court.
Day, of Gordon Street, Colne, had had too much to drink on a night out when she lost control and assaulted Kirsty Ryan in a taxi.
The court was told the taxi driver told them both to get out of his cab, and Day then punched and bit Miss Ryan in a scuffle.
Sentencing, Mr Recorder M.J. Ainsworth acknowledged she had changed her behaviour since the incident.
Day was fined £250 for the assault and ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, with costs of £750 and a £25 court victim surcharge.
