Jacob Taylforth (9) and Jasmin Lahey (10) of Colne ASC, put in a series of outstanding performances in their events at Ponds Forge in the Rotherham Metro ASC Level One Meet 2013.
The event involved many talented young swimmers from across the country.
Jacob Taylforth produced a remarkable performance, placing first in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke and 200m Breaststroke events, as well as finishing second in the 200m Backstroke and fourth in the 50m Freestyle.
Jasmin showed her strength and ability in three different freestyle events, finishing fifth in the 400m, seventh in the 100m, and ninth in the 50m Freestyle.
She also finished fifth in the 50m Butterfly and 13th in the 200m individual medley. Both representatives highlighted their progress in stylish fashion, with Jasmin recording new personal bests in all her events, and Jacob in all his events except the 50m Backstroke.
