Three swimmers from Colne ASC raced in the North West Region Masters Championships in Blackpool on Saturday.
Philip Croxall, in the 40-44 years age group, won the 400m Freestyle (sixth overall), 50m Backstroke (15th), and 200m Individual Medley (ninth). He also finished second in the 100m Breaststroke (13th), 200m Freestyle (ninth), and 200m Breaststroke (10th).
Karen Driver, also in the 40-44 years age group, won the 100m Breaststroke (12th overall), and was second in the 100m Freestyle (11th), 200m Freestyle (sixth), and 400m Freestyle (eighth overall, setting a new championships record. She also finished second in the 100m IM (15th), and 200m Individual Medley (sixth).
In the 35-39 age group, Daniel Dawson was fourth in the 50m Breaststroke (27th overall) and 100m IM (24th), sixth in the 50m Freestyle (45th) and 100m Freestyle (36th), while finishing seventh in the 50m Backstroke (21st).
