Pendle schools managed four medals at the SPAR Lancashire Youth Games at Blackpool’s Stanley Park last week.
Pendle Vale won silver in the SEN cricket and a bronze in the inclusive orienteering, and there was also silver in the rounders for West Craven, while Fisher More managed a bronze in the panathlon.
Richard Varey, Chair of the Lancashire School Games organising committee and Burnley’s Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic College Head Teacher, said: “Congratulations to all those who took home medals from the SPAR Lancashire Summer School Games, and a big well done to all those who reached the finals.
“We saw some fantastic competitions and we always enjoy a superb event whatever the weather.
“This year’s event rounds off a brilliant year of sport for Lancashire’s schools, with every school and child able to participate.”
