A FORMER Pendle pub has taken on a new lease of life - as a centre for domestic and commercial cleaning equipment.
The Jolly Hatters, in Windy Bank, Colne, has been transformed into a Karcher centre, the business having transferred from Burnley and being run by Philip Coghlan - son of former Pendle councillor Ken Coghlan - and David Harrison.
“We bought the pub in July last year and have spent the last seven or eight months renovating it to get it ready,” said Philip.
“We have it packed with domestic and commercial cleaning equipment and are holding an open weekend on Friday and Saturday so that people can see what we have to offer.”
The new shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
