PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson is calling for people to tell him which their favourite curry house is to help him decide which local restaurant to nominate for the Lyca Tiffin Cup 2012.
This year is the seventh year the Tiffin Cup has been run. Nominated restaurants will be tested by a mystery diner, and then the best 10 restaurants are shortlisted and invited to a cook-off at Bellamy’s Restaurant in Parliament. Proceeds for the event go to the charity World Vision.
Mr Stephenson said: “I want people to get in touch to let me know their favourite place for a curry. You never know. Your favourite restaurant could end up as one of the finalists, or even go on to win.”
