IN what proved to be a thrilling Friendly League encounter, Colne ASC beat Pioneer 79 by 59 points to 57 to maintain their 100% start to the season.
There were 24 new personal bests among the girls and 19 for the boys.
Colne’s next fixture is away to Accrington on Monday, May 14th.
On Sunday, two members of the Colne Masters team travelled take part in the Darlington Dolphins’ 21st Annual Open Masters Gala.
Philip Croxall, in the 40 to 44 years age group, won the 100m Breaststroke and 50m Breaststroke, was second in the 50m Backstroke, and third in the 200m Freestyle and 100m Individual Medley.
Stephen Smith also in the 40 to 44 years age group, won the 50m Backstroke and was second in the 200m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle and 100m Individual Medley,
