THE world’s fastest-growing software company has found its first-ever “partner” in East Lancashire - in Colne.

Pegasus - part of Infor and with headquarters in America and offices in 100 countries - has appointed Colne-based Holker Network Solutions as an authorised partner. It is a major coup for the IT firm.

HNS managing director Matthew Metcalfe said: “Pegasus’s record and reputation is there for all to see and we are delighted to be their first partner in East Lancashire.

“This is something we have been striving for and it means we can expand our service portfolio to our clients across the region.

“The Pegasus procedure is intense and very selective. We have had to prove that not only are we capable of fulfilling all the requirements right now, but we are also committed to a rigorous and on-going training programme to keep ahead of the game.”

Pegasus has created market-leading accounting software since 1981, but it has grown into far more than developers with a mission to create the best business software. As well as supplying software, all approved partners add their own unique value by offering specialist advice, technical support and training.

Pipp Scott, business development manager for Pegasus across the North of England, said: “Holker Network Solutions has impressed on so many levels, not least the enthusiasm and expertise of the staff and management across the key areas of technical and sales.

“We do not go into partnership until we are absolutely sure about the capability of the candidate. HNS is a young, dynamic company which sits perfectly with what we are all about – providing the best possible business software package to more than 20,000 small and medium sized companies in the UK.”
