AFTER picking up their first clean sheet of the season last week at AFC Blackpool, a second saw Barnoldswick Town hold onto second place in the NWC Premier Division.
Town are hot on their heels of leaders Bootle - a point behind after a 4-0 win over Maine Road at the Silentnight Beds Stadium.
Harry Thompson put Barlick ahead three minutes before the break, before a second half Neil Chapman hat-trick gave the home side their biggest win of the season to date.
The reserves are also flying high, as they went top of the league with a 3-1 win at Cheadle Town.
