THE D. Robinson Memorial Trophy at Ghyll Golf Club was won by Andrew Harling.
Playing off three, he scored a superb 68, nett 65 to win.
Danny Blackmore was the Division One winner, Stephen Platt was the Division Two winner and Charles Steer was the Division Three winner.
The ladies’ section at Ghyll finally managed to play their last trophy competition of the 2012 season last Tuesday.
The Centenary Trophy was won by Barbara Chapman with 32 points, from a card play-off with Hilary Hardaker.
In third place was Susan Tattersall with 30 points.
• AT Colne, the October Medal was played on Saturday and won Andrew Kellett with a round of 83-18-65.
It was his second win in three weeks.
Second was Guy Bretherton (69-2-67), with Jason Spain (88-20-68) third.
The gross prize went to Mr Captain Steve Parker.
• MARSDEN Park hosted a nine-hole Three-Person Team competition.
In the men’s event, the Lingards struck again - Adrian, Nathan and Trevor won with 44 points, by a point from Philip Marlow, Chris Shepherd and Mark Eastwood.
Third, with 41 points, were Martin Horsfield, Stuart Smith and Stuart Mulligan, after cards.
The ladies’ competition was won by Jane McGregor, Eva Pinder and Cheryl Gorman with 38 points, and the junior event saw Jamie Scott, Jake Proctor and Tyler Baxter take the honours with 39 points.
• NELSON Golf Club hosted a gents’ Stableford competition, with C. Waddington topping the 0-12 division with 30 points.
Second, after a card play-off, was P. Wright with 29 points, ahead of M. Phelan, on the same score.
The 13-28 division was also a tight affair.
P. Windle came out on top with 27 points.
Again, runners-up spot was settled after cards, with K Beeston having the edge from P. Halstead.
The pair scored 26 points.
