A PROLIFIC criminal is facing jail again after admitting raiding and ransacking a family home.
Pennine magistrates heard how Joseph Farrelly Phillips had been known by the police for years and they believed he was trying to turn his life around.
Phillips (41), formerly of Glen Street, Colne, admitted a £4,500 burglary on or between last October 22nd and October 28th in Birtwistle Avenue in the town. He will ask for 17 offences, mostly interference with vehicles, to be considered.
The defendant was committed on bail to Burnley Crown Court for sentence on February 24th.
