ST Andrew’s secured the Nelson and District Semi-Snooker First Division title after a resounding 5-0 away win over Paradise A, ending up with a nine-point lead.
Chris Mount had a run of 33 for Poultry B, who finish in second place despite a 4-1 loss away to an in form Old Band B side.Poultry’s only winner was captain Phil Harrison over Craig McKavett.
Poultry A ended their run in third place with a 5-0 home win over Briercliffe, while Alexandra tie for fourth spot after a 3-2 home win over Burnley Miners, for whom Tony Ashworth had a run of 41.
Worsthorne also share fourth place after a 3-2 home win over Lamb B, and Lamb A v Liberal A has been rearranged due to holidays.
In the Second Division, after finishing in top place with a nine-point advantage, White Lea Head have won promotion to the First Division despite a 3-2 setback away to Byerden House.
Molly Rigby’s also go up a league as they finished in second place with a 3-2 home win over Shorthomers B.
Elsewhere, Dressers E end their season in third place after a 4-1 away win over fourth placed Colne Dressers, while David Street A are in fifth place with a 3-2 away win over Dressers D.
Liberal B pulled off a 4-1 home win over Nelson Golf Club, and Paradise B came away from St Andrew’s with a 4-1 win.
In the Third Division, Andy Goody put in breaks of 37 and 48 for Molly Rigby’s A, who are this year’s winners with a 10-point lead after a 3-2 home win over David Street B, while Simon Latchum had a run of 29 for Poultry D, who moved into second place despite a 4-1 loss at home to Dressers C.
Also in second place are Shorthomers D, who ended up losing 3-2 away to Tacklers B, while Shorthomers C finish in fourth place after a 4-1 loss at home to Tacklers C.
Craig Melling had a run of 35 for Old Band C, who came away from Dressers B with a 3-2 win, and down at Church Street, Lamb C pulled off a 3-2 home win over their D team.
