Barnoldswick Town picked up a win and a defeat over the week as their season in the North West Counties Premier Division winds down.
On Tuesday night, Town lost 1-0 at home to AFC Blackpool in front of 86 at the Silentnight Beds Stadium.
In a game of few chances, the visitors scored what proved to be the winner through Martin Baird four minutes from half-time.
On Saturday, however, Town won 2-1 at Glossop North End.
Due to injuries Barnoldswick fielded a weakened eam but came away with the three points.
Mark Threlfall scored from the spot on 22 minutes, and Aaron Hollindrake netted the winner eight minutes into the second half, after Jay Mehmet levelled for the hosts three minutes earlier.
The reserves went out of the Craven Cup at the quarter-final stage to Bentham, losing 2-1, with Towns goal coming from Ben Mousley.
Tomorrow Town travel to title hopefuls Bootle in their penultimate game, kick-off 3 p.m.
The reserves entertain West Didsbury and Chorlton, again at 3 p.m.
The club’s AGM will take place on Tuesday, May 14th in the clubhouse.
Players, managers, supporters and committee members are asked to attend.
