Phil Scott of Nelson won the Over 50s class at the Richmond Motor Club’s annual Blue Bar Trophy Trial at Braidley on Sunday.
The Beta rider saw off competition from Sherco’s Ian Myers and Michael Platts to the win.
The best performance on Pre-65 was Norman Shepherd (Francis Barnett); Pre-unit - Colin Bailey (Ariel); Pre-65 Two Strokes - Norman Shepherd; Twin Shock - Paul Dennis (Fantic). Over 40s winner was Stephen Lambert (Montesa), Over 60s winner was David Harlowe (Montesa); Over 70s went to Brian Tweedy (Gas Gas), and ladies’ winner was Jenny Stephen (Gas Gas).
The team award went to Shepherd, Paul Robinson, Malcolm Reynolds and Richard Hague.
