Colne-based Olympic skiing star Dave Ryding is to host a master class at Pendle Ski Slope on his road to Sochi 2014.
The Europa and British Slalom champion will be coaching some of the most talented ski racers from the region.
Dave, born in Bretherton, now lives in Colne, and is the first British skier to hold the European Cup title.
Following on from Dave’s experiences of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he is set to travel to Sochi to compete in the 2014 games.
As an established senior member of the British Alpine Ski Racing Team, Dave was lucky to learn and develop his skills on a number of dry ski slopes across the North of England. Having learnt the basics at Pendle Ski Slope, “The Rocket” will be at the slope on June 19th between 6-30 and 9-30 p.m. for 90 minutes on slope coaching, 60 minutes on slope slalom head to heads and 30 minute questions and answers.
Cost is £35, and for more details, contact Stefan Huppach on pendleskiraces@live.co.uk or on 07968 534858.
