In glorious weather, Ghyll Golf Club’s Mixed Open on Sunday was won with 45 points by two of the club’s youngest and most talented players, Sam Bugler and Emma Blades with 45 points.
Second, with 41 points, from Branshaw, were Steve and Kath Smith. Third, also with 41 points, were Bob Bugler and Lois Bury from Ghyll.
In the junior section, in the Stephen Town Memorial Trophy, Adam Rowley won a nett 60.
Freddie Paxton, with a nett 64, finished second, and, also with a nett 64, in third place, was Jonathon Davies.
The Seniors’ Open was won with 44 points by Ray Duckworth from Ghyll and Roger Brennan from Clitheroe.
