In this video filmed by Burnley Express reporter Ben Kenyon and readers, we hear from a Padiham resident who witnessed the huge blaze which ripped through a Padiham’s recycling centre on Thursday evening.
Smoke could be seen for miles around for hours as plastic bundled at the site in Park Road caught fire and fire-fighters from the area rushed to the scene.
The dramatic scenes brought local residents out onto the streets to record the spectacle.
