Colne earned a friendly win over Chadderton on Tuesday night, after losing out at Hurst Green on Saturday.
At a wet XLCR Stadium on Tuesday, the Reds were given a testing outing by Chadderton, but they emerged as 3-2 winners.
In the first half Colne keeper Chris Thompson was forced into two outstanding saves, bit in the second half the Reds opened the scoring when Carl Ellerton played in Mark Coyne, who finished with a neat volley over the keeper.
Minutes later Jason Hart made it two when he blasted under the keeper.
On 75 minutes Chadderton pulled a goal back through Martin Russell from the spot.
But with 5 minutes remaining Hart netted Colne’s third from an excellent free kick.
Chadderton scored in the final minute but it was a well deserved victory for the Reds.
On Saturday Colne went down 2-1 at West Lancashire League side Hurst Green.
Colne took the lead after just 10 minutes when Tom Fowler’s speculative shot from inside his own area flew over Matt Pilkington and nestled into the top corner of the net.
But in the second half Green came back to win with goals from Chris Byrne and Ashley Brearley.
Tomorrow Colne entertain Rochdale Town before their final friendly on Tuesday at home to Ramsbottom United.
