Trawden’s Mike Hartley helped England’s clay pigeon shooting team win the DTL Home Countries International Tournament in Ireland on Friday.
The driving instructor won the New Cap High Gun Trophy for his performance on his debut at Esker Shooting Grounds, after shooting 292 in sweltering conditions.
And the day after, he was fourth in A class in the British Open, after shooting 294 - shooting 100 straight along the way. He will again be in action for England in the European Team Tournament in France next month.
