pendle Council holds a special meeting tonight to set its budget for 2012/13.
The council is recommended to freeze council tax levels at current rates, in common with decisions already taken by Lancashire County Council - which receives the largest proportion of the tax - and the Lancashire Combined Fire Auithority.
The Lancashire Police Authority has agreed a 2.5% increase in its share of the bill, while a number of town and parish councils have voted to increase the precepts on bills in the areas they cover.
