NELSON-based training specialist Training 2000 has won a contract to deliver apprenticeships for the Royal Mail across the whole of the UK.
Advanced apprenticeships in engineering maintenance will be delivered from Training 2000’s facilities in Blackburn, and apprentices will stay at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.
A primary team of 18 began their three-year training in September, with a new intake planned for the following year.
Chief executive of Training 2000 Steve Gray said: “This is a coup for Training 2000, and we are delighted to have been chosen to deliver apprenticeships for Royal Mail on a national level.”
