A THIEF who mugged a 75-year-old woman is facing a long stretch behind bars.
Rebecca Oxley admitted robbing the pensioner on March 24th at Burnley Crown Court. The defendant (36), of Smith Street, Nelson, was remanded in custody until May 21st for a pre-sentence report.
Judge Beverley Lunt warned Oxley: “You will be going to prison and it will be for a long time. You should prepare yourself for that.”
